Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our portfolio, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "basket" , check your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. You will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
Payment types accepted
We accept card and PayPal payments through PayPal. You do not have to be a PayPal account holder. Just select payment option given at the checkout to pay with PayPal or by credit or debit card. PayPal do not allow the purchase of large orders which exceed product, packaging and ice mat weights combined over 20Kg. Delivery fee are charged for per combined weights up to 20Kg. Large orders with combined weights in excess of 20Kg please contact by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0121 809 9001 to discuss full cost applicable and alternative payments. Alternatively, you can place multiple orders through the website, each limited to 20Kg total weight, including ice and packaging, and pay delivery costs for each.
UK, Europe and beyond
We deliver frozen, chilled and all fresh food products (perishables) to Mainland UK only. Delivery to within the European Union and orders from outside the European Union may be possible, but not for frozen, chilled and fresh food products, unless an arrangement is made for the delivery of the temperature sensitive products with a specialist to ensure the goods arrive in good condition at the destination. Please email us if you would like to know if we can deliver to your region or country.
Afia’s Food may from time to time issue voucher codes to help make your luxury or dietary shopping even better value. Sometimes these are vouchers giving a special deal of specific products and others are "off order" discounts. However, we regret to say that no matter how many voucher codes you have collected our system will only accept one code per order. This may be a product code or an order code. Please enter your selected voucher code at the relevant point during the order process. At any time, these vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash value.
Afia’s Loyalty Rewards
You can now earn Afia’s loyalty Points with each new order placed only online at www.afias.co.uk / www.afiassamosashop.co.uk. Each order must be minimum £35 excluding delivery and packaging fee. Collect Points to redeem towards your future order:
- One point per £1 spend (excludes delivery fee)
- Redeem 100 points for every £5 future orders
- Cannot redeem points against delivery fee
- Reward points cannot be earned on orders where a reward points discount is applied
- Start collecting points from your very first order
- Reward points cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash
Examples: Can only redeem in chunks of 50, 100, 150, 200 etc. points, cannot redeem 67 points or 132 points
Earn Reward Points for Referrals: How it works:
Each registered customer on our website will be provided with a unique link (URL) to give to friends (the referred customer). The link will send your referred friend to afias.co.uk / afiassamosashop.co.uk website home page, place a tracking cookie on their site and track any purchases they make. When your referred friend visits the link and makes a purchase, you the registered customer who provided them with the unique link will earn reward points which you can later redeem at afias.co.uk / afiassamosashop.co.uk website. Your referred friend also receives an introductory new customer discount with their first order. The referred customer has 30-days to make their first purchase on receiving the unique link (URL) before the tracking cookie is expires and is removed.
Now these rewards are something to sink your teeth into!
To find out how many Points you have saved, log into your account. There, in your personal account, you will see the number of Points saved. You can also see this information on the checkout screen.
To redeem your Reward Points, place the items you want to buy in the shopping basket. Before making payment, it will display how many points you have to redeem as cash discount against your order. There is a box to tick if you want to redeem the points on this order.
NOTE: Cannot use Voucher Codes in addition to redeeming Reward Points. in the shopping basket. The Reward Points cannot be used in conjunction with any offers, discounts, vouchers, competition rewards, promotional items, and gift vouchers.
Reward Points are not awarded for postage, packing, gift vouchers, and other charges. Can only redeem reward points for cash discounts on purchases at the checkout, not redeem for cash.
Product information, dietary flags, photographs, and pack sizes are all for illustrative purposes and general advice. We aim to keep the recipes and ingredients the same, but without notice we may change or improve the recipes when deemed necessary. The same may apply to the packaging, dietary classifications, and cooking and storage instructions. So please always check the details before purchase and on the packaging before using. This is especially important if there is a possibility of an allergic reaction.
Please contact Afia’s Food, or your own doctor directly if you have any doubts concerning the nature of product ingredients or if you suspect that you may be allergic to the ingredients. Please note that WE DO NOT USE nuts for any of our products. Our facilities are all nut and sesame free. We place importance on all involved with the food production to not to handle nuts outside and inside of the working environment day to prevent risk of bringing any kind of nuts and or sesame seeds into the production area and causing cross contamination
We check the specifications of all the raw ingredients and products used to make and package our food. We are strict with not allowing anything containing nut to enter our premises. We train our staff to strictly adhere to our NO NUTS policy. What is beyond our control are those who operate through the supply chain from the origin of source at the farms and through to our suppliers. Please note – no independent laboratory tests are conducted by Afia’s Food Limited for nut presence. We request and depend on the information provided by our suppliers. The emphasis is on you “the customer” to decide whether Afia’s Food products are suitable for you to eat based on the information we have provided.
Mainland UK Deliveries and Schedules from Afia’s Samosa Shop
We deliver our products across the Mainland UK for all “Perishables” (frozen, chilled and fresh foods). All our products are packaged frozen in order to have them arrive at the client destination in as good condition as to when they were dispatched. Deliveries are scheduled only during the week (Tuesday – Friday), excluding Mondays, Bank Holidays and day after Bank Holidays. Saturday delivery option is available for an extra charge, but we don’t recommend this option just in case the driver fails to deliver for whatever reason. Orders are dispatched using a reliable third party overnight express courier direct from our premises. PLEASE ensure you have the correct destination postcode; we can’t be held responsible if you quote an incorrect address or postcode.

Please note we have a minimum spend order of £35 after all discounts are applied (not including postage / delivery fee). This helps us to cover the cost of the special courier packaging for frozen and chilled foods and ice mats.

We will only offer replacement of your order for frozen, chilled and fresh food products IN the event the delivery was not received, was damaged, or was incorrect:
- because of issues with the courier company - parcel delivery delayed by more than 24-hours, lost or misplaced in transition, and as a result arrived defrosted above the food safe temperature 6C
- delayed because of weather conditions by more than 24-hours and as a result arrived defrosted above the food safe temperature 6C
- We incorrectly processed your order for delivery
You must inform us with a digital photographic evidence on the day of delivery by email or phone text. This must be within a reasonable time because of the temperature and time sensitive nature of the items you received. You must also call us with your issue so we can resolve quickly and efficiently as possible.
Please note no refund are offered for deliveries issues.
We regret that as a rule we do not send temperature controlled goods to outside of UK or to some more remote UK locations where the delivery time may exceed 24-hours. As the products may not arrive in optimum frozen condition.
Our UK deliveries are sent with a carrier on a "before close of work" basis for “next day express delivery” which means that your order should generally arrive with you before 6pm on the day we have indicated (10pm during the December month). We cannot guarantee or specify a time of day.
As with all third party deliveries, the delivery driver may in rare cases fail to deliver for reasons not known and not related in any way to Afia’s Food Limited. These may not be limited to excess workload, breakdown, forget to load the parcel to vehicle, even lose the parcel. Reasons which are beyond our control. Your patience in these situations is appreciated. We will do our best to resolve the situations. If all fails, we will dispatch a replacement parcel at the earliest date possible. No refund will be given for your order.
Delivery options and any costs are calculated dynamically as you place your order and are displayed on the "my basket" or checkout page. We do our best to deliver to you with the lowest possible costs as are charged to us by the express courier delivery company.

Minimum Quantities and Packing Charges
Orders for delivery must be minimum £35 after discounts are applied and before adding your selected delivery service fee. The delivery fee will be added at the checkout to your total. Chilled and Frozen goods are packed with several ice sheets (500g each in weight when frozen) and packed tightly in the special insulated chilled and frozen thermal lined food boxes to maintain their temperature during delivery. The cost of these special insulated boxes and ice sheets is a minimum £8.00-£10.00 per parcel delivery. This cost is absorbed by Afia’s Food. The delivery service cost is paid by the customer. The ice sheets contain hydrated gel and are re-usable multiple times. Great to use with lunch boxes or use to carry home groceries from your local supermarket.
Heavy orders (combined weight over 20Kg) may incur a surcharge for per 20Kg for manual handling by courier company plus £0.90 per kg of excess weight. In these cases, it’s advised to opt for delivery fee for per combined weight 20Kg to keep delivery costs low.
Out of Stocks
We request orders be placed more than a week in advance to give us time to restock, package, and freeze before processing in time for delivery dispatch. We are limited in space for freezing ice sheets and storing our frozen and chilled products. If we have excess products available, then we may be able to process your order sooner. We will inform you if this is the case so you the customer can make arrangements to receive your parcel. If we receive very high volume of orders for dispatch the following week, the production time may take longer than expected to complete all orders. In this case we will email to notify you in advance about how long the delay maybe and possible dispatch and delivery date. You can either accept and wait to receive the delayed order or request a full refund by the same method used to pay for your order before 24-hours of dispatch.
Telephone and Email Orders
Please note telephone and email orders are not accepted unless the online system is not working. If a customer wants to make nonstandard order, or to place an extra-large order for which bulk purchase discount maybe applicable then exceptions can be made. An invoice for these orders will be created and emailed or posted to you the customer for prompt payment by bank transfer (BACS method). On confirmation of full payment received your order will be processed and dispatched either as per agreement or with our scheduled regular processing timeline.
All prices shown are inclusive of VAT where applicable. The VAT exclusive price is shown separately for the benefit of overseas customers for whom VAT does not apply. All invoices will include breakdown of VAT added.
Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using SSL encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site, and even our staff cannot see all the details. Afia’s Food Limited do not store or hold any card payment and banking information for any orders received by email, telephone, and through our website.
If you do not want to give credit card details over the internet (when this service becomes available) you can choose to pay by your PayPal account by selecting this payment option and signing in at the checkout. Or contact us by phone or email with your order and we will forward an invoice with details of how to make payment by bank transfer. On confirmed receipt of full payment, your order will be processed as normal for online orders.
Guarantee, Returns and Order Cancellation
We at Afia’s Food Limited want to provide you with 100% satisfaction. If for any reason you are not entirely happy or wish to cancel your order just send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org 24-hours before your order dispatch date (excluding weekends, bank holidays, and 17th December-5th January of each year); but not within 24-hours of dispatch, because your order is dispatched, is in transit, or is delivered. If you wish to cancel before we have processed the goods for dispatch, then please call us on 0121 809 9001 (please check with your service provider for call charges) or email email@example.com.
If and when we do provide non-food items, if you wish to cancel an order containing strictly NO food items, NO perishables goods after they are despatched then please call us on 0121 809 9001 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a return. In this instance, the charge made to you will be refunded on return of the goods. If the return is for reasons other than faulty / incorrect goods because of error by Afia’s Food or by our courier agents, then we will need to ask you to cover the cost of returning the goods to us. The goods must be unopened in original packaging and in excellent unused condition. Returns that are due to faulty / incorrect non-food items because of error by Afia’s Food or by our courier agents must be reported within reasonable time of receipt of the goods. Where possible supported with digital photographic evidence sent by email to email@example.com. We will do our best to resolve your faulty goods issue. If not possible then offer partial or full refund.
Frozen, chilled, perishable goods cannot be returned.
If your order is damaged on arrival, please sign for it as damaged. If there is interior damage please take a digital photograph and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org along with the consignment number of your parcel so that we, in turn, can validate the claim for the damage from our courier. If your order has not arrived by 6pm (or 10pm during December month) on the expected delivery date, you must notify us in writing by email and by phone, so we can follow up with the third party delivery service provider for action.
Environmentally Friendly Packaging
We try to maintain high environmental standards with our packaging and use biodegradable, compostable or recyclable materials wherever possible. Obviously when sending products by mail it is very important to package them adequately to reduce the risk of breakage or damage . We use triple walled cardboard boxes which are totally recyclable and fill and cushion well with plenty of recycled paper.
Chilled, frozen and fresh food orders are packed in special thermal cardboard insulated boxes that are biodegradable or compostable. In warmer weather we may double insulate the boxes to ensure that your goods get to you in good condition. The insulation lining unfortunately are not biodegradable but can be recycled or reused.
Afia’s Food line The Consumer Contracts Regulations:
The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014 are designed to protect customers who are not physically present with the seller at the time of purchase. If you have ordered by telephone or internet, under The Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund for any home delivery item (excluding those ordered in-store). This does not apply to, items that due to their nature cannot be returned; perishable goods (e.g. food, flowers and periodicals/magazines), items personalised or made to your specification; audio/video recordings or software that you have unsealed.
As such under the regulation once an order has been despatched cancellation or refund policy doesn’t apply as we only supply perishable goods, however, if a problem does arise, e.g. an order isn’t wanted, Afia’s Food will do what we can to appease our customers. Under the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998 we need to inform you that we hold a record of all the details we need for setting you up and servicing you as a customer. This includes special delivery instructions and dietary requirements if applicable. This information may also be used as a basis for sending you information we think will interest you. Should you wish not to be included in this please tick the opt-out box at the point of ordering, but obviously we need the information on file to service you as a customer. If our records of your name, address, telephone number or any other special information are in any way inaccurate please let us know as we want to maintain up to date records and within legal requirements.
Cookies are small files which are placed on your computer's hard drive. Cookies help this website to analyse traffic and visitors and help our site respond to you as an individual.
For your reassurance - A cookie can be thought of as your online ID card, which tells our website information about your order and user details. Cookies are not computer programs and can't read other information saved on your hard drive.
They cannot be used to spread viruses, or get a user's e-mail address etc. They only contain and transfer to the web site as much information as the users themselves have disclosed to that web site.
We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used on our site and analyse visitor behaviour through statistics. We do not use them for any other purpose other than general website analytics where all data is anonymous.

This information will be taken from you at the time that you make a purchase through our online store or make contact with us through the contact us page on our online profile. This will help to setup your account and service you as a customer.
We know that when you shop online, you want to know that your name, address, credit card details and any other information you give us is kept safe and secure, and we promise to do that. We do not give any of the data you give us to any third party. All credit card information is encrypted and even our staff cannot see all the details.
Controlling your information
You may request details of personal information that we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held on you, please contact us.
If you believe that any information, we hold about you is incorrect or incomplete then please write to or email us as soon as possible and we will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all materials and/or content made available as part of your use of this website shall remain at all times vested in us. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us.

You can cancel this agreement at any time by informing us in writing. If you do so, you must stop using www.afias.co.uk and www.afiassamosashop.co.uk sites. Or send us in writing your request to cancel your account with us. The suspension or cancellation of your registration and your right to use www.afias.co.uk and www.afiassamosashop.co.uk sites shall not affect either party's rights or liabilities.
